Waist Trainer Week 2

I love working out in the morning first thing, so that I have a ton of motivation for the rest of my day. Unfortunately, with all our visitors Tuesday-Saturday, I missed my daily mark. So, I think to make up for it, I am going to ATTEMPT to workout in the morning and once at night every other day this week (Mon/Wed/Fri). CLICK HERE for this week’s workout and smoothie recipe!

After the initial week, this has been soooo much easier. Not only is it easier to get on, but I forget that I am even wearing it. Each day, I am averaging ~8hrs of wear. Not too shabby! Working out does get a little difficult during cardio. Your ribs need to perform a “pump handle” action to expand for oxygen intake. The waist trainer does prevent that by about 10%.

Eating and drinking isn’t the easiest either. I get this feeling when about 80% full to stop eating. During the day, I love drinking tons of water. However, I think that I consume about 25% less.

My least favorite part about waist trainers, is that you do have to handwash these. Here’s my suggestion- hand wash every other day and use a refresh spray on alternating days. Feel free to use mine, as it is anti-microbial & antibacterial:

1T WitchHazel
5t Filtered Water
3 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
3 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
Shake it all up in a little spray bottle and you’re good to go to start spritzing your way to a fresh smelling waist trainer! If you would like to partner with me on an essential oil filled healthy life journey, feel free to reach out to me!

Have you tried one of these torture devices before? What were your results?
