Sephora Play April 2017

Can you believe April is pretty much over? Wow that flew! This month was packed full with visitors- friends and family alike, Chris working on his building, and as for myself… well continuing that dream career role. Don’t worry everyone- I am almost there and should be sharing the amazing news with you all shortly! Keep reading to see what I thought of this month’s Sephora Play!

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream– ($52.00USD) Listed as being great for all skin types. It feels like you are not putting anything onto your face and neck. Would I add this to my skin care routine? Nah. I cannot tell if it is actually going to make a difference or not.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment– ($24.00-$175.00USD) I forgot how effective this exfoliator is! At first contact, there is a tingly sensation. You can tell it really works! I know that the packaging states to leave on 1-2mins, but I go for it and continue to massage for 5mins total. If I didn’t have so many other similar products in my arsenal, I would absolutely be purchasing.

Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer– ($36.00USD) When one signs up for the Sephora Play subscription bag, you have to describe your skin type. Clearly, I am beyond oily and a primer is necessary. I have tried this one so many times. Each time, it fails me. Makeup never looks flawless for me, so I am saving this for one of my dry skin friends.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner– ($21.00USD) This liner is made to not move until you remove it. Staying power, as well as waterproof, is essential in our climate. It can get humid and pretty hot at times. Migrating liner isn’t fun! When first applied, you are able to take a smudge brush to it. From there, it dries quickly and is a total score for those looking for a liner in pencil form.

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover– ($7.50-$15.00USD) Hasn’t this been out for a while too? Does it work on their own waterproof mascara? Barely. Just not a fan. Sorry Sephora! I prefer coconut oil, as that takes off everything with ease.

Marc Jacobs Daisy– ($27.00-$100.00USD) I feel like I have seen and smelled this one for the last 10yrs. Yes, it is very nice and anyone could feel amazing wearing this scent, but my limbic system craves more.

As always, as an awesome addition, the 50 VIB points!

Final thoughts- I feel like I have seen and used these products before. Yes, they are key players, but I’m just meh about this bag. I would have really liked to see something new that would make me want to rush to my nearest Sephora and buy buy buy.

Hope you had the most fantastic April ever! Let me know in the comments below what you received in your bag this month. I love checking out everyone’s bags!
