For $3.00 online or in Target, this .41oz mascara is SUPER affordable. However, when I used it, I found that it was perfect for my toned down days, teenagers or those that only want definition with length, and not Tammy Faye Baker lashes like myself.
Color: Very Black. I would say it performs more like a soft black. Even after a work out, it didn’t migrate on my face. Not waterproof, but maybe a little water resistant?
Brush- LOVE. Reminds me of so many high end companies with the ball at the end. Can get all the way to the waterline without poking your eye out. It is really stiff feeling when entering or exiting the tube. Just the right amount of product is distributed onto the brush and does not get gooped up on the wand itself. I always feel like that is such a waste.
Great tip for mascaras like this when you like super heavy look: use it as your base/primer of your lashes. Then, when ready for 2nd or 3rd (or 20th) coat, top with your favorite mascara. You just might get longer results that are truly separated.
There is no trace or flaking or clumping with mascara whatsoever. Not super wet and not super dry. Just down the middle. From my perspective, that is an excellent formulation.
But, here is a little tip of what I like to do after I have opened and tried a mascara- add a drop of Lavender Essential Oil. It will help with length. Plus, I feel like my natural lashes are stronger and won’t break off when I rip off false lashes.
