Day 24: We often times get so busy and consumed in our own lives, dreams, jobs, and concerns that we start to realize that most of our prayers are about us.
Family members, friends, and other people in our lives may ask us for prayers and sometimes we forget to be intentional about following through.
So… Today’s #OolaChallenge is to pray a specific prayer for someone that you care about. Take a moment and think of someone close to you who has been on your mind and in your heart recently.
Whether it’s a family member going through a difficult chapter in their life, a friend whom you haven’t seen in awhile, or your spouse who you just want to take the time to thank God for blessing you with, we all know someone special to us that could use some prayer. Be specific with your prayer and let your sincerity and gratitude come through in your words. It’s a blessing to be able to pray for the people you care about.
A move can be a pretty scary life event. Chris and I moved to the LKN area without knowing many people. However, we have been blessed to get to know one gal that unfortunately was laid off from the pharmaceutical industry. She has had a really rough time trying to find another amazing company to rest all of her knowledge with. Today, I am lifting her up in prayer to find the career of her dreams. Is there anyone I can help you pray for?
