This primer is a mask, moisturizer and primer in one cute bottle. I received it as a sample awhile back and just never got around to trying it until now. The sample size is actually half the weight of one full size that costs $55.
The website states:
Be ready for that “close up” in seconds with a mask, moisturiser and primer in one.
MODERN: A portable pick-me-up that evens, plumps and brightens instantly.
NATURAL: Bio Boost, our powerful new blend of repairing plant oils, Hyaluronic Acid, Argan and Starflower Oils plus a hit of Caffeine for this perfect revitalising formula.
BEAUTY: Rapidly erases signs of fatigue, boosts hydration, and preps the skin for photo perfect make-up.
Apply to clean skin including eye area and massage gently until absorbed. Skin will feel slightly dewy and perfectly prepped for make-up. – See more at: $55 In Transit Camera Close Up Primer
Already I can tell this isn’t for oily skin. Sometimes, when primers are a little heavy feeling, the best way to overcome is to apply with a damp beauty blender (which I did do with vigorous bouncing). No brightening or plumping noted. Kinda wish I would have used a matte lotion in conjunction.
Take a look at this photo- even with a full coverage foundation and being super careful of blending, it just wouldn’t lay nicely around my nose or cheeks. I think that there are no priming properties to this and will be best used as a moisturizer. Sigh! Still on the hunt for the best primer. Which one do you recommend for super oily skin? Let me know in the comments.
