Review: R&Co Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste

A few months ago, I received this cute little jar as a sample in my Birchbox: $28 for Full Size. I had so many other spray dry shampoos to use up first, that I was saving this beauty in my TSA approved pile. Well, no fights planned until later in 2017, so why hold onto it any longer?

On Tuesday, I had my tabs moved up on my Hotheads Extensions. Being only Thursday, not ready to wash yet. One should always wait at least 72hrs to make sure the glue on the tapes really takes hold. Well, to err on the side of caution, I wait 5-7 days prior to washing again. I need a dry shampoo that will keep up with that, but also to not weigh hair down or build up so much product that I am itching like a dog.

To use, run your finger tips over the paste and warm up between your hands prior to applying only to the roots. I am not loving the texture of my hair, but I am impressed by the volume & how dried out my unwashed hair feels (not in a bad way)! The scent isn’t that noticeable, so I will add some Davines Shimmer Spray for that fresh scent again.

My advice- you can possibly over use this one. Be sparingly & super careful, but it truly rocks. We don’t necessarily think a dry shampoo comes in paste form, as we are conditioned otherwise. Give it a shot and let me know in the comments how it works for you!
