Field affirmation: I am pursuing my purpose in life. Right now, my role in life is to be the best me, the best girlfriend, the best daughter, the best mommy to my fur babies and the best homemaker. But, more importantly, to figure out where I want to go next in my field of Talent Acquisition. This little bottle has been helping to “break through” those tough decisions when speaking with prospective employers.

For myself, I am currently in pursuit of my next “dream company.” I had the ultimate. Then, recently it all went away. Being in the solar industry, it truly is a solar coaster. You never know which turn it will take next. My most recent turn was more like upside down and the ride broke. I have so many truly awesome, heartfelt stories I could share. Unfortunately, all those involved are now on the lookout for their next dream company too.

Yes, I do get calls and emails all the time since the news broke of the company’s layoffs. It came at a surprise to so many of us. Well, basically anyone outside of accounting I would guess. We were having our sights set on being the first solar company to be profitable. Now it went all down the toilet and it is time for me to move on to construct another platform for a (new to me) company that has their hearts set on hiring only the top 5% talent out there.

But, do these other companies have the same vision that I do for their talent acquisition needs? Are they futuristic and analytical like me? All this boils down to, where will I find happiness in my field? I do need some help figuring out where to go to next. What is my next move? How should I handle this huge life event? What can I dream up next? That is what prompted me to search out this oil to incorporate into my daily routine. Diffusing in my home office while searching online has opened my thought process up to the idea of new employers out of my comfort zone.
