Day 21: It is through our flaws, imperfections, and mistakes that we have the most opportunity to grow individually and in our relationships with others.
How amazing is it is to have someone in your life that recognizes the heart behind all your mistakes? It’s pretty amazing that I have Christ and Chris in my life. No matter what happens, I will always have the two of them.
The problem is, we usually don’t know because we’re too afraid to admit we were wrong, we feel guilty for the rejection or hurt we’ve caused someone, or we just aren’t sure what to say.
So… Today’s #OolaChallenge is to apologize for a mistake you’ve made, or to someone you’ve hurt or pushed away, and ask forgiveness. Because forgiveness is the greatest gift we can receive – from others and from ourselves. It reminds us that although we are entirely made of flaws, we are stitched together with good intentions.
Normally I would ask for you to comment as to how the daily challenge went for you. I realize that this one might a little more personal.
