Review: The Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick

$28 at Sephora.com. I received this as a sample with a recent order and never got around to trying it until today.

Since I have pretty oily skin, I also have pores that makeup will settle into during the day. I love the fact that you can use stick as a primer, without makeup to keep shine down and over makeup to blur imperfections during the day.

I know I was kinda heavy handed with this as a primer this morning, but with the amount of “bouncing” I do with a beauty blender, I figured this would be something that would push into pores/lines nicely when using the UD All Nighter Foundation. With some primers not in gel form, they have a tendency to ball up and do funky un-wanted actions. Not with this one. I am actually pretty impressed. Even with foundation, concealer, various powders, highlight/contour, it looks pretty dewy and as if I have normal skin.

Not too shabby after a few sprtizes of UD All Nighter Setting Spray. For us oily gals, I think that is something to keep in the arsenal. The true test will be these NC summer heats once they arrive.

Has anyone tried the setting powder? Let me know in the comments what you think!
