Day 17: One of the most beautiful things about life is that we get to be so many things to so many people. We’re bosses, we’re employees, we’re friends, parents, siblings, children. We’re spouses and significant others. We’re teammates, classmates, and colleagues. We go, go, go and do, do, do for all the people and responsibilities we have in our lives. It’s easy to get lost in all these labels that we forget who we are, and what makes us unique. Sometimes we even find ourselves reigning in our energy a little, holding back things we want to say, and doubting all that we have within us.
So… Today’s #OolaChallenge is to take 30 minutes and do something for your soul. Set aside the requests, the demands, the stresses, and the deadlines. Do something where you can be yourself, express yourself, and gain back the faith in yourself. Whether it’s yoga, reading a book in the park, a drive in the mountains, coffee on your porch, prayer, or getting a massage – whatever it is that refreshes your soul, take the time to do it.
