I’ve gathered 15 questions from The Beauty Blogger Tag, and as always, enjoy!

What is your natural hair color?
I was born with jet black hair. At 6mons, it all fell out, came back in platinum, fell out again and ended up with a rainbow of browns and blacks. Honestly, I haven’t seen those days since about the 5^th grade.

Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I am very fortunate to be able to go to a salon. I see the owner Angela at Salon Vanilla in the Lake Norman NC area. She is a wiz at HotHeads Extensions, carries Davines products and truly awesome with Wella Color. I have a lot of glitter/chrome streaks in my hair. What I mean by that is grey hair that needs to be carefully covered.

How often do you wash your hair?
I know how bad this will sound, but hell let’s discuss it. I see no point to washing my whole head with extensions, except once a week. I have 4 packs (2 Blue & 2 Black) of hair on this bitch and it takes too long for it all to dry. Sometimes, I will only spot wash the top and front.

But, I did have to wash it all today. Here is what the process looks like:
Take equal parts: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Davines’ Nou Nou Hair Mask
Add all 3 to your favorite color bowl and microwave until Coconut Oil melts
Appy to midshaft evenly and comb through
Now there will be some left in the bowl- dunk the ends
Clip up your hair and get your morning routine done (pray, workout, clean, blog, etc)

Shampoo by Davines that lovingly gets my head clean and soft: Oi Milk
While still in the shower, I apply again mid shaft down, that NouNou Hair Mask. Clip it up and finishing washing the rest of this bod.

Yes this all takes a long time, but when you commit to extensions, you commit to keeping them fabulous as well.

Will you leave the house without makeup?
Rarely do I come out of the bathroom without it. I have this weird old Dolly Parton-esque thought on it. I have always been over the top and no one knows me otherwise. Chris will tell you, he has never seen me with wet hair. I once heard Dolly say that her own husband hasn’t seen her without the wigs and lashes, and I vow to copycat that.

How long does it take you to do your makeup?
Sometimes 30mins. Sometimes an hour. I never know what artistic look I will come out of there with once the primer hits. I build as I go.

My iPhone. Crazy I know, but I haven’t gotten that far yet

Oh hell yeah! It tells me that someone took the time out of their day to read about something crazy in my life.

What skin type do you have?
Depressingly oily. To the point where I will always carry large purses to redo all my face makeup during the day. You would swear I left the house with olive oil on my face an hour after primping.

What is your current facial cleanser?
Obsessed with Skin Script Raspberry Cleanser

Do you have freckles?
Yes I do during the summer time when we are out of the boat on Lake Norman, NC

What is your favorite eyeshadow color?
I love super sparkly blues, greens, black and the occasional crazy red

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
When I was younger all the time! I got that shit down now!

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner only!

What is your favorite lipstick?
Anastacia’s Liquid lippy in Sepia is what I always am reaching for. Bu, today I tried something crazy- Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain in Always Red $14

Name a makeup crime that you hate!
Super orange foundation. Please go to Sephora and ask for help!

Do you like drugstore makeup?
Absolutely! Many drugstore items are complete dupes for high end!
